Transform Your Autoimmune Disease | The Balanced Diet is an anti-Inflammatory diet, a key tool at your disposal to fight Autoimmune Disease. Here are some of the main components to the successful Balanced Diet an Autoimmune-Focused Nutrition Program:

1. Avoid triggering foods. Since everybody’s genetics, environment, and medical history are different, I’ll work with you to find the specific triggers you should avoid. There are certain foods everyone should avoid though, such as refined oils like omega-6, soybean, corn, and safflower oils. Gluten could be also a major trigger for many people. For me it was olive oil and olives. Testing for food allergies and sensitivities including celiac might be a key the underline cause for your autoimmune presentation.

2. Adding anti-inflammatory foods like wild caught fish and plant base sources of omega 3-6fats. High rich polyphenols foods like red cabbage or blue berries, organic dark green vegetables, fresh organic herbs, and spices and much more

3. Testing for any potential hidden infections. These includes viruses, bacteria, Lyme and yeast. If found, we will work together to reduce and eliminate these infections.

4. Testing for environmental and metal toxins in some cases will be advice since these toxins can lead as well to autoimmunity.

5. Work on improving gut health. The gut is a crucial aspect of treating an Autoimmune Disease. Factors like stress, antibiotics, and high-fat diets can negatively impact your gut bacteria. In addition to improving the health of your microbiome/gut flora system, testing for leaky gut is often recommended as well. The thin, single-cell lining of the gut is highly susceptible to leaking which in turn can cause severe inflammation. It is highly common to have leaky gut and not even realize it.

6. Take the right supplements. Supplements like fish oil, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, and probiotics can naturally calm the immune system. Anti-inflammatory nutrients like curcumin are also often recommended. Make sure your supplements are high quality. 7.
